When Should An Estate Plan Be Reviewed?
I tell my clients every couple years. It’s a good time to have your estate plan reviewed or in some circumstances where you might have a change in your life, like receiving some money that you can expect to receive or a buying or selling a business acquiring new property. Things like that. That might be a circumstance where you might want to come in and get it reviewed again. Otherwise, just every couple years just so you ensure that none of the laws have changed; nothing since the last time you drafted your will or did your estate plan has changed and it will be comforting to have your attorney let you know that everything is still in order.
