Stacy has extensive experience representing personal representatives, trustees, beneficiaries, guardians, and creditors in contested probate, trust, and guardianship matters. Her work includes will contests, trust and will interpretation disputes, fiduciary litigation, contested accountings, heirship proceedings, business succession disputes, and cases involving undue influence and competency concerns.

In addition to probate and trust litigation, Stacy has handled a wide range of complex civil matters, including breach of contract disputes, quiet title actions, fraud claims, DTPA matters, adverse possession cases, and more than fifteen appeals. She has argued before multiple Texas Courts of Appeal and served as lead counsel before the United States Supreme Court.

Stacy has practiced as an estate litigator since 1999. She earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law and her B.S. in Organizational Communications from The University of Texas at Austin. Over her career, she has handled high-profile estate contests and a wide range of litigated matters, including heirship proceedings, business succession disputes, undue influence claims, competency challenges, spousal rights of election, and simultaneous death issues.

She is also a certified attorney ad litem and guardian ad litem for the probate courts and has argued cases before multiple Texas Courts of Appeal. Stacy served as lead counsel before the United States Supreme Court in Kennedy v. Plan Administrator for DuPont Savings and Investment Plan.

Prior to her current role, Stacy was Senior Counsel at Holland & Knight LLP. She is also a frequent author and speaker for state and local professional organizations.
